This CD contains highlights from a 12-hour event presented by Symphony Space in New York City on March 23, 2002, during which all the music performed was composed by Richard Rodgers. For those not lucky enough to attend any part of that extraordinary day-long event, entitled Wall to Wall Richard Rodgers, this CD should give you a glimpse into the variety of performances and performers who participated to salute Richard Rodgers’ Centennial Year, salute New York, and support the programs in the newly-renovated Peter Norton Symphony Space.
