About Flowering Tea

Flowering Tea is a new tradition that celebrates the tea leaf. Hand-picked, organically grown, premium white tender tea buds, top two green tea leaves, and golden-tipped black tea are hand sewn into bundles or rosettes with cotton thread by artisans in various regions of China. When steeped in hot water, these leaves slowly expand and the flowers delicately unravel into a bouquet of breathtaking shapes. The tea liquor releases a myriad of flavors from sweet and subtle to rich and bold. After enjoying the first pot, a Flowering Tea may be re-steeped 2-3 more times.

Flower Jewel – Tender hand-picked white tea is crowned by a delicate and bright pink amaranth flower. The dancing petals blissfully open as sweet jasmine scents this captivating elixir.

Starlight Rose – Fine white tea leaves are hand tied with cotton threads around a delicate rosebud. As it blossoms into a stunning visual bouquet, it imparts a mellow white flavor, a delicate rose aroma and smooth velvety flavor.

Dragon Lily – Bursts open into an arrangement of superb white tea and stunning flowers. When steeped, sprinkles of osmanthus petals surface and an orange lily blossoms, a mesmerizing display. This translucent liquid imparts a velvety sweet apricot flavor.

Emerald Sun – This white chrysanthemum flower wrapped in a bouquet of green tea imparts a clear jade liquid. In hot water, it turns into a globe shape with mellow and nutty flavor and hints of floral sweetness.

Golden Jasmine – Jasmine scented, golden-tipped black tea slowly unwraps into a basket of leaves and a garland of white billowy flowers. The tea’s deep amber hue radiates a divine perfume and reveals lovely hints of chocolate.
