A limited edition gift commemorating the brave men who fought and won World War II

This beautifully-reproduced, framed photograph print triptych features three images from February 23, 1945, the day the U.S. Marines raised the American flag atop Mt. Suribachi at Iwo Jima.

The image on the left shows the first flag that was raised at Iwo Jima; a second larger one was raised later that day and memorialized by AP photographer, Joe Rosenthal. That Pulitzer Prize-winning, on the right, is arguably the most recognizable photograph in American history. These images flank a third, moving photograph of the Marines who were there on this famous day, cheering after the raising Old Glory.

These images are produced from digital files housed at the Associated Press Archive in New York City. The images, 8" x 10" (left/right) and 9" x 12" (center) are continuous-tone photographic prints on high quality, resin-coated photographic paper. The classic black 35" x 19" frame is made of composite wood with plexiglass and features an acid-free white with black core mat. The title, "Old Glory Goes Up on Mount Suribachi" is also featured, along with the location and date of the photographs.

Each limited edition, framed triptych is individually numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity listing the title, photographer, location and date as well as description of each image, the archive from which each photograph was selected and how the print was made.
