Maybe this has happened to you as it has to countless others: you're driving home, listening to a story on your local NPR station. Suddenly, you find yourself in your driveway (or parking space or parking garage). You've got groceries to unload, your kids are waiting for dinner, and you may even need to go to the bathroom, but you are so captivated by the NPR feature, rather than turn the radio off, you stay in your car to hear the piece to the end. It's a Driveway Moment.

For years listeners have written npr.org to tell us about just such moments and the stories that caused them. From your submissions, we have compiled this 2 CD set of the stories which kept you in your car until the end. Now you can listen at your own pace, again and again to these great features from NPR.
