Gardenia (Gardenia Jasminoides) One of the loveliest and easiest bonsais to grow, Gardenia is renowned for their richly scented, delicate white flowers that bloom from May to June. nicely-branching, evergreen shrub in the wild, Gardenia respond well to pruning making it ideally suited to creating informal, upright tree-like forms.

Japanese Black Pine (Pinus thunbergii) Pines are among the favorite plants of bonsai growers, and the Japanese black pine is considered by many to be one of the most striking. With its strong roots, rugged bark and informal appearance, the black pine is an elegant and powerful tree that epitomizes the bonsai aesthetic.
